Diving into the Spiritual Creative: The 'ssenmelo' Interview

Thank you for taking the time to speak to us ssenmelo. Could you introduce yourself to the people reading?


“I am fearfully and wonderfully made” - a Manchester-based creator blending faith, tech, and music into something only God could orchestrate. Some say I have a similar sound to Untiljapan, others say Destroy Lonely - but “let God be true, and every man a liar” (Romans 3:4). I’m carving my own lane where worship meets raw authenticity.


How long have you been curating your sound and what has influenced you to begin this journey?


I started making music during COVID when lockdown became my “wilderness season” (Hosea 2:14) - God used isolation to amplify my voice.


What song of yours would you name as your favourite and what song would you say maybe isn't as popular as you feel it should be?


My favourite song is "u bought me a Hershey"(coming soon) - a sweet reminder that "every good gift comes from above" (James 1:17)

My most underrated track would be "921" - the "mustard seed" (Matthew 17:20) in my discography




Is there any advice you feel the reader should hear that could help them with any obstacles or struggles they could possibly be having right now?


"Commit your work to the Lord" (Proverbs 16:3). And when criticism comes? "Iron sharpens iron" (Proverbs 27:17) - let it refine you.


Are there any goals you have set yourself for the remainder of 2025?


Release my album, memento mori

Perform live (yes, even with my church shyness)

Grow Praedexa.com into a digital"city on a hill" (Matthew 5:14)


Is there any announcements you'd like to make for the coming future?


New music coming soon - "no eye has seen" (1 Corinthians 2:9) what God's cooking up!

Launching Praedexa was my "walking on water" (Matthew 14:29) moment - terrifying but miraculous.


For the final question, what would your dream event to perform at be?


A worship night where “young men see visions” (Joel 2:28) - maybe even right here in Manchester! Mic Drop Moment 🎤 “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord” (Psalm 150:6) - so whether through code, chords, or Christ, I’m here to make his name famous.
